DC PRO was appointed by Actis to provide Technical due-diligence services for the Acquisition of Emicool’s District Cooling Assets in Dubai. The main scope of DC PRO Engineering was to provide a technical overview for the condition of the current assets, identify improvement potentials and associated costs, simulate anticipated energy consumption over the lifetime of the assets, highlight any technical concerns, identify main technical or performance issues with mitigation plans, review operation and maintenance procedures and records, and assess performance KPIs and consumption levels to assist Actis in preparing their offers and in taking an informed decision in relation to the planned transaction of the district cooling assets owned and operation in downtown area.
As an outcome of the transaction, Actis acquired 50% of Emicool’s DC assets from Dubai Investments at a valuation 1 Billion USD.
