DC PRO was appointed by Emaar District Cooling to provide Technical due-diligence services for the Acquisition of District Cooling Assets in Downtown, Dubai.
The main scope of DC PRO Engineering was to provide a technical overview for the condition of the current assets, highlight any technical concerns, identify main technical or performance issues with mitigation plans, review operation and maintenance procedures and records, assess performance KPIs and consumption levels, and advise on the cooling demand curve versus contracted capacity to assist bidders in preparing their offers and in taking an informed decision in relation to the planned transaction of the district cooling assets owned and operation in downtown area.
As an outcome of the transaction, Tabreed acquired 80% of Emaar DC assets in downtown area at 2.4 billion Dirham deal
