DC PRO Engineering has been appointed by M/s Mubadala Infrastructure Partners (“MIP”) to carry out technical due diligence scope for the 80,000 Ton district cooling plant and network providing cooling services in Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi. The main scope of DC Pro Engineering was to conduct site visits to assess physical conditions of assets and highlight any upgrades required or operational concerns; review of contract documents and project agreements to highlight any potential performance risks transferred to various stakeholders involved; review of O&M history and failure records to ensure compliance with project agreements and equipment service requirements, and review of performance data and operational records in the past years against industry benchmarks and KPIs defined in concession agreements.
As an outcome of the transaction, Tabreed acquired 50% of MIP DC assets in Maryah Island at 311 million Dirham deal.
