DC PRO supported the New Murabba Development Project in establishing a scalable, efficient and sustainable district cooling strategy. The scope included cooling load estimation, assessment of water-cooled, air-cooled, hybrid district cooling and individual building solutions, definition of typical plant requirements, and development of the chilled water network concept, including routing, pipe sizing and hydraulic design. The recommended strategy achieved a cooling load density exceeding 40 m²/TR and an annual average energy efficiency of 0.625 kWh/TRh, while providing the flexibility required for phased implementation and future expansion.
